Elle est largement connue pour son implication dans le d\u00e9veloppement de la capacit\u00e9 africaine de recherche en sant\u00e9 de CANTAM. Parmi ses nombreuses distinctions, citons le prix Christophe M\u00e9rieux 2016, le prix de recherche Georg Forster 2015 et le prix scientifique r\u00e9gional Kwame Nkrumah 2012 de l&#039;Union africaine pour les femmes.
