Elle est co-chercheuse principale du r\u00e9seau d&#039;essais de vaccins contre le VIH (HVTN) financ\u00e9 par les National Institutes of Health et dirige le programme en Afrique. Elle est actuellement pr\u00e9sidente et chef de la direction du South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC).
