Sa s\u00e9rie de projets de recherche ax\u00e9s sur le paludisme avec des coll\u00e8gues de la c\u00f4te kenyane s&#039;est \u00e9largie au programme international de recherche KEMRI Wellcome Trust, ax\u00e9 sur tous les probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 en Afrique de l&#039;Est, dont il a \u00e9t\u00e9 directeur jusqu&#039;en 2014.
