Professor Sir Alimuddin Zumla is professor of infectious diseases and international health at University College London as well as a consultant at UCLH, the Royal Free Hospital, and an awardee of the UK NIHR Senior Investigator Award. His research and passion for treatment and control of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases has earned him many accolades, including being among the UK’s top communicable diseases experts.
