Dr. John Amuasi is an academician and a global health expert on emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, research and policy. Dr. Amuasi is a trained physician whose research focuses on improving health systems, services, and outcomes, and policy analyses in low and middle-income countries. His research involves field epidemiologic studies on cryptosporidiosis, malaria, and several neglected tropical diseases. He is currently the Executive Director of the African Research Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases (ARNTD).
