Dr. Simon Antara is a medical epidemiologist with vast experience in public health practice and applied epidemiology. Highly recognized for his leadership and advisory role in the field of epidemiology across many African countries, Dr. Antara has earned recognition among others in the field for his excellence in programme and project management, monitoring and evaluation, surveillance, and emergency preparedness and response. He is currently the Director of African Field Epidemiology Network (AFENET).
