Dr. Lul Pout Riek, MD, MSPH

Dr. Lul Pout Riek is a physician and a public health expert with proven records of accomplishment in helping countries to build resilient health care systems and implement health programmes that save lives of the people in need, specially children and women in some of the most challenging contexts in the developing world. Dr. Lul Pout Riek is the Regional Coordinator at the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention- Africa CDC. Previous to joining the Africa CDC, Dr. Riek served as the Director General for International Health and Coordination at the Ministry of Health, Republic of South Sudan and worked at WHO as Health Policy Analyst.
