Dr. Michael Iroezindu is a medical doctor with a specialization in internal medicine (Infectious Diseases/Tropical Medicine) and expertise in public health. He is an outstanding leader with research career focused on HIV management (especially HIV epidemiology, opportunistic infections, HIV inequalities, non-infective co-morbidities, antiretroviral treatment outcomes and key populations), tuberculosis, malaria, systemic infections and emerging infectious diseases. Dr. Iroezindu is currently the Director of Research at the Walter Reed Programme-Nigeria.
