Dr. Nissaf Bouafif, an academic and a leader in public health, specialized in preventive medicine, public health, epidemiology, and biostatistics. She has vast experience in research activities related to infectious diseases, especially hepatitis and leishmaniasis and non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and coronary heart diseases. Dr Bouafif has been the head of the preventive medicine and epidemiology department at the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis and the coordinator of the master’s program in epidemiology and biostatistics at the University of Tunis Manar.
