Shingai Machingaidze is an Epidemiologist with experience in the public health and clinical research fields which includes conducting and managing clinical trials and clinical research; portfolio, research and grants management and funding; supporting public health programmes; as well as strategic partnerships and engagement with national, regional and international agencies. She has considerable experience building programmes that support capacity building of African-based scientists and institutions. Shingai has a passion for child and maternal health, with particular interest in vaccination programmes in Africa. She is currently the Senior Science Officer for Africa CDC.
