Mrs. Grace Ssali Kiwanuka

Presentation: Effective Platforms for Public Health Dialogue to Strengthen Health Systems

Mrs. Grace Ssali Kiwanuka has over 15 years of experience in leadership positions in the Uganda private health sector. She holds an Economics degree from Exeter University, UK and Masters in Business Administration, from Boston University, USA. As current Executive Director of the Uganda Healthcare Federation (UHF), an association of associations, membership umbrella body for the Uganda private health sector, she spearheads engagement with both government and development partners on matters of interest to the private health sector. As part of this role, Grace Co-Chairs Uganda’s Public Private Partnerships in Health Technical Working Group with the Ministry of Health, and represents the private sector on the Ministry of Health – Health Policy Advisory Committee. She is an active contributor to the Uganda National Health Insurance Task Force and as well as the National Quality in Health Coordination Committee. She Chairs the Public-Private Mix TB National Coordination Committee and chairs the Uganda National Bureau of Standards Technical Committee on Health Service Standards.
