Dr. Amadou Alpha Sall is virologist and currently serves as the General Administrator of the Institute Pasteur of Dakar (IPD). His research focuses primarily on the diagnosis, ecology and evolution of the arbovirus and viruses of the hemorrhagic fevers. Dr. Sall is a member of the Expert groups for WHO, OIE and Chairman of the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN).
