Dr. Victor Mukonka leads the Public Health Agenda in Zambia and for the Southern Africa Regional Collaborating Centre for the Africa CDC. Throughout his career in public health he has successfully coordinated the multifaceted response and mitigation of the 2017-2018 cholera outbreak in Zambia, served as Chair and member of the Programme Subcommittee for the World Health Organization’s Africa Region, and led the development of the 2017-2021 Zambia National Health Strategic Plan.Â
