Professor David Heymann is a medical epidemiologist and Professor of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. He is a leading global public health expert with years of experience working in different parts of the world mainly Sub-Saharan Africa and India. Previously, he served as the Executive Director of Communicable Diseases Cluster and Director Programme on Emerging and Other Communicable Diseases at WHO. He is a distinguished fellow at Global Health Programme, Chatham House.
